- Thomas worked as a tax lawyer at the Brussels Bar for 5 years before making the switch to “Legal Tech” entrepreneur. He was also the driving force behind several Legal Tech and innovation projects at KPMG.
- Together with his two brothers (an engineer and a physicist), he founded Aeco legal tech (www.aeco.cloud) in early 2020. A company that really wants to bring innovation within the legal sector. They guide law firms, corporations and other actors with their digital transformation. They also have their own patented technology to deal with tax legislation in a smart way (www.taxtechnology.be).
- Thomas is a true thought leader and authority on Legal Tech and innovation within Belgium and Europe and has written publications for e.g. the American Bar association and been a guest in international podcasts.
- He is also a member of the steering committee of a new program on Legal Tech and Innovation at the University of Antwerp.
