Erik is a tech savvy lawyer, entrepreneur and regulatory manager with >20 years in-house experience in the Telecom, IT and Technology sector.

After practicing law in a private practice, he became Legal Manager responsible for the Belux legal department of HP (former EDS). Afterwards, he gained experience in the telecoms industry as Legal Manager with Verizon Business (former MCI WorldCom) and General Counsel with Melexis (a publicly listed company in the semi-conductor industry). In his position as General Counsel for Voxbone he was responsible for all legal, regulatory and public affairs of the company on a worldwide basis, overseeing a team of 5 people. Today, Erik serves many clients in the technology industry on a worldwide basis.

Erik frequently speaks at seminars on ICT law matters and telco regulatory topics. He is a sympathising member of the Belgian Institute for Company Lawyers.
