Roald is a tech entrepreneur, with both a deep technical background (computer science engineer, UCLouvain), and a solid business training from Solvay Brussels School, Stanford (EPGC ; VC Unlocked, AIP), and Louvain School of Management (Exec MBA).

He’s been involved as co-founder, shareholder, and board member in a handful of companies that have done video streaming, mobile messaging, ebooks, elearning, Big Data, and business applications (and raised an aggregate $18M of venture funding).

After years of startup coaching, Roald is now a Venture Partner for LeanSquare, a tech seed fund based in Liège.

He was also a co-founder of BeCentral, where he started in 2019 the AI Black Belt training program on Artificial Intelligence, that has trained a dozen cohorts so far.
