Cyril Fischer is the lecturer for the data protection course at the University of Liège. Cyril is also a qualified IT, digital law and data (protection) lawyer at the law firm Stibbe.
Since 2019, Cyril is a guest lecturer at the University of Luxembourg, where he gives a seminar entitled ‘Internet Litigation’. Cyril is also a guest lecturer at HEC Liège, where he gives a seminar on the ethical and philosophical aspects of data protection.
Cyril mainly focuses on (big) data, privacy, internet, IT, electronic communications, digital platforms, social media, as well as AI and digital matters in general.
Cyril holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics (2018) and followed the Law, Cognitive Technology & Artificial Intelligence course at the BSC in 2021.
