Mona Caroline CHAMMAS is an international attorney advising businesses, innovators and governments worldwide through GOVERN&LAW, the firm she founded. She is a pioneer of Ethics & Compliance by Design for responsible innovation.
She also leads the WhistleBlowing Center which monitors speak up lines and handles investigations to address ethics dilemmas and risks in real life and real time.
Mona is an appointed member of the Ethics Committee of the French Space Agency, and a Member of the AI Ethics Committee to the Belgian government.
She lectures at the Sorbonne university in Business Ethics and the EDHEC Business School for Digital Ethics Officers. She is a regular speaker around the world on innovation, ethics and regulation. Mona is an expert in innovation & AI law, human rights, anti-corruption, competition, good governance and international cooperation.
Her prior career was dedicated to the OECD and its Governments as a Policy Expert; to Unilever Europe as its Business Integrity Director; and as an attorney to law firms Cleary Gottlieb (Brussels) and Wachtell Lipton (New York).
