Tjade Stroband is Director for Artificial Intelligence and Disinformation Policy at Microsoft’s Government Affairs office in Brussels. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2022, Tjade has over fifteen years of multi-institutional public sector experience, working on competition, internal market, industrial property and digital policies at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Netherlands Permanent Representation to the EU and the European Commission. Tjade holds a MSc in Business Economics (specialisation in Industrial Organisation) from the University of Amsterdam.
