Benedikt is a tech lawyer and a member of Taylor Wessing’s Technology, Media and Telecoms practice. He advises the public sector as well as national and international companies, mainly in the technology industry, on data protection and IT law issues. Benedikt has a particular focus on the regulation of artificial intelligence, where he regularly publishes.

Benedikt completed his law studies at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 2016 with the First State Examination. After his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich, he passed the Second State Examination in 2018. He then pursued his doctoral studies at the interface of criminal law and IT law and received his doctorate in 2021 with the thesis “Artificial Intelligence and Sentencing” at the University of Augsburg.
